I love the hot and sour soup with fried wontons, everything is always cooked perfectly, and this is a real Asian owned restaurant, and you can meet the beautiful family that built it. For me the vibe feels like home and it just feels like they want to feed you. I always leave happy.
Excellent! I haven’t had egg foo young this good in years! Lots of fresh veggies! Spring rolls were delicious. Prices very reasonable and very friendly staff. I ordered take out and they brought me tea while I waited.
I have been eating here since 1979. It is my favorite place for Almond chicken. It is family owned. My waiter was the grandson. He was every Interesting. I had to wait for Metro so we talked while waiting. He made the time enjoyable & time went by quickly.

The service is top notch. The food is the most authentic and best tasting Chinese cuisine I've ever had. Bamboo Garden is the bar that I set all other Chinese food restaurants against (and none meet the high standard that Bamboo Garden has set).

This is an awesome Austin gem for Chinese food. Been around for years and because of their service and food they will be around alot longer. Visit if you have a chance, you will not be disappointed.
The staff were all very welcoming and kind, our server was Hanson! He was very sweet and helpful. The food was tasty and had great proportions for the price! Very cozy atmosphere
Not a yelp guy but just came here to say I'm sad to see this place close. Was my favorite Chinese restaurant and the family that ran it are amazing people. Hope they reopen one day :(
